What do they consider?
The Assessment Committee considers many questions and issues as it reviews and recommends organizations to the OPF Partnership.
Some considerations include:
Theory of change: How do the nominated organizations approach the needs of the community? How do the organizations measure success?
Diversity of organizations: How do the nominated organizations vary by communities served, size, innovative strategies, and more?
Mission alignment: Do the nominated organizations reflect and practice core OPF values of engagement, community, responsibility, respect and commitment?
Financial Status: Are the nominated organizations fiscally responsible, and able to capitalize fully on an OPF grant?
Impact of grant: How does a grant from OPF impact the organizations’ ability to serve their constituencies and communities?
